Tori Kelly: 'Inspired by True Events' Album
It's no secret that Tori Kelly can saaaaaang! I've been a fan of her vocals since day numeral uno...before she became "TK."
What I appreciate most about this album is the raw and uncomfortably honest energy that was meticulously placed into each lyric, melody, chorus, key and string.
Her songs, inspired by true events, are the total opposite of unpretentious, which left me feeling vulnerable about my own feelings of love, truth, disappointment, promise, joy and everything in-between. It's always pleasant when one can relate to another's story and be able to walk away from that experience with an even bigger sense of self than before.
This album is in heavy rotation.
